As I was moving out of my college apartment, I could tell how much I evolved over the last four years just by looking at my closet. Freshman year my wardrobe looked like a rainbow, and now it’s mostly black, white, light pink and chambray. Can you say #adulting?
So this week I’m featuring a long black trench vest from SheIn, an affordable online retailer (this vest is under $25!), that captures my grown-up style to a “T” (pun intended). It’s a little Los Angeles, New York and London mixed together, but still super fun. It’s perfect to wear over rompers, dresses or wear it as a long shirt tied with jeans or shorts.
And even though it’s black and I live in the desert, it’s worth the sweat sporting my new wardrobe staple wherever I go-whether it’s to work or even Papago Park like I did for this week’s post. It seems that I had a theme because the knit dress I bought from Express isn’t exactly 110-degree weather friendly (it’s knit) but who really cares as long as you look good, amirite?
I’d say I could be an honorary member of the Kardashian Klan, no? A.K.A. wearing black and grey and/or wearing an outfit that’s way too nice for what you’re doing. Also, it helps that I’m wearing Kourt K, one of my many precious babies in my Kylie Lip Kit squad.
Thanks again to Rebecca Condruti for her bomb photo skills!
