Desert Style, Desserts + Desoto Central Market

Living in downtown Phoenix is pretty dangerous, but not in a safety kind of way. More in an I’m-always-poor-because-of-the-amaaazing-food kind of way. And because of its proximity to my apartment, Desoto Central Market is one of the main contributors to my “problem.”

Not only is there a variety of places to eat at Desoto, but it’s also adorable. The historic building has a modern flair and floor-to-ceiling windows that makes it perfect for snapping some photos of your food, and that’s exactly what I did this week! I stopped by Tea & Toast Co., which is where I frequent the most because every month there’s a new drink of the month inspired by a local celebrity. September’s drink was inspired by AZ Foodie and was a sugar-cookie-esque latte, rimmed with sprinkles and paired with a funfetti-looking cookie-dough ball. How can food look this cute?!

Whether you consider yourself a foodie or not, Desoto is sure to turn you into one. Best of luck resisting its charm because it’s irresistible. You can expect to see some more treats from Desoto on the blog!

Now to the desert fashion to pair with my desserts! I’m showcasing an Others Follow dress I scored from my Teen Vogue Back-to-School-Bash; my Kendra Scott earrings, zenned out bracelet (there’s a hidden message inside!) and silver wren necklace and  from the Bloguettes workshop last month; and my new hat and #fringewithbenefits booties from Charming Charlie (That’s my second-biggest problem because I work there!).

So many sweet things in this week’s post. It might leave you with a cavity 🙂

P.S. I’m nominated for Arizona Foothills Magazine’s Best of Our Valley for “Most Fashionable Under 30.” You can vote here once a day until Nov. 30!
