Collegiate Style 101: Now in Session

Welcome back to class collegiates!

There’s no doubt the best part of going back to class is showing off a brand new wardrobe. I’ve already lined up the first week’s looks…(and possibly the following week’s)!

As a journalism student, my outfits must be professional, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have some fun! It’s especially important that I’m comfortable since I’m running around doing interviews and writing stories all day.

And this week, I started my position as a design assistant for Henny and Coco, a luxury children’s accessory and lifestyle brand. Think mini Audrey Hepburns and little boys dressed to make any little girl *swoon*. Check out the designer’s Instagram @hennyandcoco (prepare to have your heart melt).

So here’s a relaxed, first-day look that works for work and class and fit in perfectly with a rare sight in Phoenix that had to be documented: LEAVES!

I hope your semester (or start to 2015 if you’re not a student!) is prosperous, adventurous and oh-so-stylish!

P.S. A HUGE shout out to my best friend and photographer this week (and most likely for most weeks) Chloe Nordquist! Follow her on Instagram @chlojozz. Wish her a friendly Tinseled Pink welcome!
